The debate over activated charcoal is a weird one. I take it occasionally if I've had a big weekend, in hopes that it latches on to all the remaining liquor/beer/debauchery in my body. To be honest, though, I'm not quite sure that it actually does anything. I know for a fact that it whitens teeth, but other than that, I'm pretty skeptical that it does much. The day I start to feel like a seasick hyena, take some, and immediately feel like running a marathon is the day I believe all the hype.
